In this, The Year of the Natural Fiber, we are working to make our alpaca business is a model of sustainable livestock. While we do not eat the alpaca meat in the US , every other part of the alpaca can be utilized. Alpaca fleece is considered a luxury fleece and is prized by spinners, weavers, and fiber artists. Alpaca poo is a high nutrient low odor fertilizer. Nothing goes to waste, so to speak.

Tranquility Alpacas is focused on helping you realize your alpaca dream, whether you are looking for a new alpaca to diversify your herd bloodlines, a breeding for a prize female, or just a cute pet quality animal. Education is a critical component for the alpaca owner, and we will work with you to help you learn how to care for your alpaca properly. You can expect to hear from us again too, asking how you are doing and sharing our experience if you run into an unexpected problem. If your alpaca experience is successful, we are successful.

Some of the finest bloodlines are represented in our alpacas, Dom Lucilio, Camilio, Microsoft, Hemingway, Pachacuti, Apollo, Royal Fawn, CPeruvian Jackson, to name just a few. Our own animals have done well in the shows, and we have numerous prize winning animals in our herd.
